The Missing Treasure

This story is dedicated to six people my first dedication is to my parents for always being so sweet to me and helping me and for always pushing me forward. My second dedication is to my grandparents for always being so sweet to me. And my third dedication goes to my sister for always being there for me. And my fourth dedication goes to my library teacher Mrs. Cooper for always being so nice and she inspires me.

 

Chapter 1: Beginning of History

Once there was a family who lived on a small kind of big island and there were lots of rumors there about some missing treasure that no one has ever found and that the last person who stepped foot there was never seen again!

 

There are two siblings and they are brother and sister, the sisters name is Abigail the brothers name is Gryffindor They are both obsessed with treasure. He is 19 and she is 16, they are both very adventurous, but he can be more serious sometimes and the Abigail usually likes to jump forward on certain things. But Gryffindor can be like that too.

 

They wanted to find the treasure a lot so at night when their parents were sleeping, they snuck out to find the treasure and took their parents car. But it took them a while to get to their destination but they finally did.

Chapter 2: Snake Bite

Once they got there, they first started to explore and they went thru caves and spider webs and when they went thru one of the caves, they found a pond and there was a bunch of alligators so they looked around to try and find something to get across with and they found a rope so they grabbed onto it but they did not know that it was a snake! And the snake bit the sister on the arm as they jumped.

 

The brother did not get bit so he had to try and cure the sister but he could only cure the sister by finding the snake and getting venom from its body to cure her. And he had to carry her out of the cave since she had passed out from the venom injected into her body from the bite.

 

Chapter 3: Getting the Cure

So, once he carried his sister through the tunnel, he laid her on the ground and told her “Please stay there Abigail” and then he was off to find the cure to save her and he went searching thru the woods and as he was walking, he saw the worst / best thing ever! It was the exact snake that bit his sister! He quietly / loudly screamed hoping that he would not and as he was leaving the snake snuck up behind him and tried to bite him but right when it did the brother turned around and grabbed the snake.

 

Chapter 4: I Lost It

Once he grabbed the snake, he looked for something from his bag to grab the venom with for the cure. And once he found something to get the venom with from the mouth which was a cloth and a bag, he tried to pry its mouth open to get the venom and once he did, he grabbed some venom for the cure and put it into the bag.

 

Then once he got the venom, he started climbing up a mountain to get to his sister. Then as he was carrying the cure, he got really tired so he stopped for a minute and then he dropped it.

Chapter 5: I Cured Her

Once he dropped the venom for the cure he looked down and saw it rolling down the mountain hundreds of miles fast!  And he decided to fun down as fast as possible but he was not fast enough the venom cure was rolling way too fast and it was hitting things so it almost spilled out!

 

And he could not take it anymore, he knew it was going to spill by the time he got to the bottom.  So, he made the biggest decision of his life, he jumped miles and miles up in the air and as he was in the air, he saw he was right in front of it and he landed and caught it then he brought it to his sister and cured her!

Chapter 6: We're Trapped

So, once he saved her, they both were fine so they said to each other lets go find that treasure! And then they were off to look for the missing treasure.

 

Then they came across an ancient Egypt castle so they went inside and under their feet they saw ancient writing on the floors so they started jumping and before they could do anything else they got launched down into a big whirl pool! And they could not get out because there were steep walls around them and they had to solve riddles to get the walls to come down.

Chapter 7: Running Out of Air

But every second they were in there the water got higher so they held their breath and went down under the water and tried to figure out what it meant to solve the riddle and they kept trying to solve it and they finally did by looking at the walls and adding all the pictures together and all the water drained and the walls opened.

 

So, they climbed up some rocks and vines to get back to the top because the thing that took them down didn't take them back up and once, they got back up they fainted because they were so tired and exhausted, and when they woke up they were somewhere really different.

​

Chapter 8: Where Are We

Once they woke up and realized they were not where they were before they started looking around to try and find some clues to figure out where they were and where they were going. After a little while, they found some clues and they found out that there were a couple of evil villains and they heard that they were going to throw them out of the plane because the evil villains did not want to take any chances of Abigail and Gryffindor finding the treasure.

 

So, they snuck up to the front of the plane and hijacked it and threw the evil villains out of the plane for kidnapping them. Then they brought it back to its original destination and continued to look for the treasure.

​

Chapter 9: Help We're Stuck 

Once they got back from hijacking the plane and bringing it back to its original destination they went deep into an ancient tomb where people swore, they have seen ghosts or spirits.

 

They had to go thru the ancient tomb to get to the other side to continue to look for the treasure so they went deep into the tomb where they claim they saw things but they kept going thru the tomb and later they got trapped in a mummy tomb because someone trapped them in so they looked around to try and find a button to unlock it and they found one and finally got out!

 

Chapter 10: The Note  

And once they got out, they kept on walking around until they saw a table with carved in messages on it and symbols on it and a floating coffee cup hovering over it.

 

They did the craziest thing anyone could ever do, they stood back to get a running head start and ran like the wind then jumped and head bumped the coffee cup and fell face first on the table. So they got off the table and saw that there was a really old note in the broken table so they took it out and it said "I've traveled so far and its come to this I don’t think I can stay alive any more someone’s been chasing me and I’m hurt I can’t keep running I’ve spent most of my life looking for the treasure so if someone finds it put some in my grave and I wish you my life good luck" signed adventurer Cliff Creak. 

​

Chapter 11: Sailing

After they read the note, they felt so emotional so they wanted to find the treasure even more then they did before so they took the note and were off. Then finally they reached the end of the tomb and at the end they saw a waterfall and they heard a noise step stomp.

 

And they looked behind them and saw 5 men who wanted to capture them so they tried to run away but realized it was a dead end so they jumped into the water and swam to shore and they were exhausted so they wanted to stay but they did not want the men to find them.

 

Then they came across a big problem there was a big lake and they knew there was no way they could make it across by swimming so they turned around but before they left, they saw a hatch in the corner of their eye so they climbed down in it and when they got to the bottom, they saw a big ship.

​

And then they heard footsteps so they turned the corner to see who it was and it was the 5 men from the waterfall so they panicked and hid behind the ship but they did not know it was their boat and they needed it so they jumped into the boat and rode away.

 

Chapter 12: Finally Found It

Then they looked behind them and saw the 5 men swimming behind them trying to get back on their boat so they paddled as fast as they could and finally, they got away and reached a massive lake.

 

And they kept paddling for hours and hours but then they saw a light and it was a helicopter and it was trying to destroy the ship and they were about to crash so they shot an arrow at the helicopter and then the helicopter went crashing down and sunk but their boat was also sinking so they jumped out and swam to the nearest place they could find which was a cave and they sat behind the cave and saw a big waterfall so they walked towards it and saw two poles and on those poles were skull statues faced sideways so they turned them towards them and the water stopped coming from the waterfall. And they went in and saw it there it was the treasure chest so they opened it and there was gold and gems in it along with a piece of paper that said “make a wish.”
